Our Pots
Here at Cerebrum we make sure that every element of our product is quality and sourced locally. Our pots are no different. Our ceramicist Remy, who is based in Marrickville helped us to create the design for our pots. We chose to use a clear glaze on half of the pot to create a whiteboard so that people are able to personalise their pots. making each one as unique as possible.
Remy
Remy Pajaczkowski-Russell works between making production domestic ware and his sculptural practice. He trained in Sydney at the National Art School majoring in ceramics before moving to France to work in traditional French studio potteries in La Borne.
Since returning from France, Remy has been working in the ceramic field in Sydney in a variety of different roles, from artists assistant to studio management to teaching and course designing. Remy's practice ranges from installation, drawing, and ceramics. Primarily, he works now as a production potter, making domestic ware to be used for entertaining and sharing.
At the core of it, Remy is fascinated by the material nature of clay and its endless possibilities.
